With utmost respect, I welcome your visit to our TEKUN Nasional Official Portal. I would also like to thank you for your interest to know more about TEKUN Nasional and to gather information on the services offered by this institution.

For your information, Yayasan TEKUN Nasional was established in 1998 as an institution under the purview of the Ministry of Entrepreneurial and Cooperative Development. The main objective of Yayasan TEKUN Nasional then was to provide easy and quick capital financing to Bumiputeras who wish to participate in the business sector and become entrepreneurs.

Since its establishment to this day, TEKUN Nasional has always successfully performed its roles and responsibilities entrusted on it as expected. Up to 31st December 2011, TEKUN Nasional has provided a total of RM 1.9 billion in financing to 253,143 entrepreneurs throughout the country. For 2012, TEKUN Nasional has allocated a total of RM 400 million in financing to almost 40,000 entrepreneurs.

The year 2008 celebrates the 10th Anniversary of the inception of Yayasan Tekun Nasional, thus it is befitting that we continue to re-assess and re-evaluate the achievements and prestige of the Yayasan, of whether it has achieved its aspirations and objectives at its inception.

Nevertheless, we at Yayasan TEKUN Nasional continuously strive to optimise the institution's operations and make changes and reforms from time to time according to the current needs. Hence in 2008 Yayasan TEKUN Nasional has changed its directions and initiated its re-branding exercise.

With this new direction, it is hoped that Yayasan TEKUN Nasional can play its role more effectively to achieve its objectives. In addition, TEKUN National will also optimise its delivery system to give the best services to the targeted group as its customers.

TEKUN Nasional's administration pays full attention on the aspect of Integrity and good Corporate Governance, besides creating the Performance Management System and Quality Management System in this institution's operation. In fact, TEKUN Nasional is in the process of acquiring the ISO 9001:2000 recognition before the end of this year.

TEKUN Nasional will also create a strategic network among TEKUN entrepreneurs through Kelab Komuniti Usahawan TEKUN (KKUT) . Via this platform, existing TEKUN entrepreneurs totalling up to over 279,605 persons would be able to form one cooperative bond which could provide benefits towards their business development. TEKUN Nasional will also develop the TEKUN's Entrepreneur Portal which would become the database, as well as a business and network centre among TEKUN's entrepreneurs and the public.

Hopefully with all the support, assistance and cooperation, we at TEKUN National will be able to perform our duties and responsibilities that have been entrusted upon us to the maximum to fulfil this institution's intentions and objectives of its establishment.
